Painting florals and still lifes allows great freedom to express the beauty of color and texture like no other subject. The organic rhythms are nature's best expression of glory. Every summer I go to the farmer's market to purchase the most beautiful flowers and fruits to set up stills for my classes and I to paint together. We concentrate on saturated color and the play of light on the subject.
