A lovely couple came to one of my gallery openings in 2007. The loved my work and asked if I had ever been to Burgundy. They owned a house there in a small village that they offered to me if I’d paint for them. So off I went to explore the idyllic springtime countryside and paint. I sold most of my French Collection so I returned to the same place 10 years later in 2017. This time I painted all of the Rose, Peach, terra cotta, and citron colors of spring with even more texture.
