My favorite subject to paint has always been landscapes and I have sold thousands. I have done plein air paintings and studio paintings using my own photo references for 50 years. It is an exercise in pure joy to go to a beautiful location and paint it. America’s forests and mountains and farmlands and architecture show incredible diversity and beauty.
